After showing off Jock and Bryan Hitch's "Jupiter's Legacy" #2 variant covers earlier this week, Image Comics and writer Mark Millar are digging deeper into the book today with some new images from artist Frank Quitely's work on the series.

Recently, Millar praised his artist's contributions to the latest Millarworld project, not just in terms of their aesthetic beauty but in terms of their speedy completion as well. "I'm so pleased with how Frank Quitely's been doing on this," he told CBR. "He's amazing. An honor to be working with him. The plan is for this first volume to be ten issues long. It'll be five issues, a break and then five issues again. And he's been bang on. He's doing at least three pages a week. We're shipping it bi-monthly, and we're in great shape. If we speed it up, even better, but it's pretty good so far."

Today, CBR News presents a unique look at the title's June 26-releasing second issue -- a sequence of of scenes from the next chapter of America's most broken super family.
