Entertainment Weekly has debuted the cover for its Comic-Con preview issue featuring Marc Webb's "Amazing Spider-Man 2." The image features the first good look at Jamie Foxx as Electro with all the effects and costuming applied, as he faces off against Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man.

EW also posted a brief excerpt of its interview with Andrew Garfield about his view on the flexibility of the Spider-Man movie mythos, as the actor recalled a conversation he had with producer Matt Tolmach about the Mary Jane character and Peter Parker's sexuality.

"I was kind of joking, but kind ofnotjoking about MJ," Garfield told EW. "And I was like, 'What if MJ is a dude?' Why can't we discover that Peter is exploring his sexuality? It's hardly even groundbreaking!...So whycan'the be gay? Whycan'the be into boys?"

Garfield went on to nominate actor Michael B. Jordan for the role, saying, "I've been obsessed with Michael B. Jordan since'The Wire.'He's so charismatic and talented. It'd be even better -- we'd have interracial bisexuality!"
