Fans finally have their first look at Hope van Dyne suited up in Ant-Man and The Wasp thanks to actress Evangeline Lilly.RELATED: Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp Officially Begins ProductionTo commemorate what would be Jack Kirby's 100th birthday, the actress took to Twitter to showcase her own suit in action. Comics legend Kirby created the Wasp with Stan Lee, and she first appeared in Tales to Astonish #44 in 1963.

Concept art of the Wasp's suit was originally glimpsed in a banner at D23 Expo, and an unfinished version of the costume was teased in an Ant-Man post-credits scene, but this is the first time a photograph of Lilly actually wearing the size-altering suit has been released. There's no word yet as to exactly how Hope will utilize her suit, though the synopsis for Ant-Man and The Wasp promises a brand new mission that takes places in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War.

The film will see Ant-Man, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), come to grips with his status as both superhero and father as he is thrust into a new quest alongside the Wasp and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), the original Ant-Man. The trio's new adventure will see them unearth secrets from their past and introduce the original Wasp, Hope van Dyne's mother, who was thought to be trapped in a quantum dimension when she hacked her suit to stop a rogue missile.
