The first clip from Disney's live-action "Beauty and the Beast" has been unveiled, boasting Emma Watson's vocals as the classic Disney princess Belle.

The sequence, fittingly titled "Belle," features Watson as the titular character, fleshed out by the townspeople, made up of the film's chorus, who -- like the townspeople in the animated version -- don't understand why Belle is all about the books, and not about acting like everyone else.

Aside from finally hearing Watson's singing voice, audiences now have a good idea of just how lush the film is going to look. Clearly, great pains were taken to make the film not only work in a live-action format, but to also show us a new side to the story that fans haven't seen before. Belle's hometown looks very lived in, while also being purely fantastical. Take a look at the clip right below:

"Beauty and the Beast" is directed by Bill Condon and also stars Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Ewan McGregor, Gugu Mbata-Raw, Stanley Tucci, Emma Thompson, Josh Gad, Ian McKellen and Kevin Kline. The film will be released in theaters March 16.
