Emerald City ComiCon Returns with its Greatest Guest List Yet

Official Press Release

Seattle’s premiere comic book and pop culture convention will feature an
amazing array of talented guests that have become a pivotal part of the
convention’s success. The 2007 Emerald City ComiCon (ECCC), highlighting
comic book creators ranging from local independents to internationally
known talents, will take place March 31st and April 1st at the Qwest Field
Event Center in Seattle, WA.

“We’ve pulled out all the stops,” says Organizer Jim Demonakos. “It’s what
people have come to expect from ECCC – top talent, high caliber
exhibitors, great exclusives, fun panels and much more.”

Comic book guests include Frank Cho, Michael Golden, Mark Waid, Brian
Michael Bendis, Gene Ha, Ed Brubaker, Adam Hughes, Joe Linsner, Alex
Maleev, Mark Bagley, Peter Gross, Greg Rucka, Darick Robertson, Phil
Hester, Ron Marz, Tim Sale, Chris Sprouse, Brian Wood, Kurt Busiek and
many more!

For many creators, ECCC is becoming a perennial favorite on the convention
circuit.

“The Emerald City ComicCon is the perfect combination – big enough to have
lots of guests and dealers and activity, small enough to be friendly,”
says Kurt Busiek. “I’ve been to them all so far and it’s a great
experience.”

Media guests are also a part of Emerald City this year, with “Sarah
Silverman Program” star Brian Posehn, Matthew “Feedback” Atherton of “Who
Wants to be a Superhero?,” original Lois Lane actress Margot Kidder, Peter
“Chewbacca” Mayhew celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars and
others appearing at the show.

There are many exclusives to be had at ECCC as its one of the only places
to buy a great variant of the SOLD OUT Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness
#1 by Arthur Suydam and have it signed by writer John Layman. Exclusive to
the show will also be a Michael Golden Dinosaur print, a limited edition
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles print, not one but two Joseph Michael Linsner
prints and quite a few other great exclusives.

Filled with great programming (including panels hosted by Marvel and DC
editors), costume contests, gaming tournaments, the CBLDF sketch duel, the
Ultimate 100 auction and so much more, fans are sure to find something to
excite. There will even be a number of portfolio reviews for budding
professionals.

Experience the 2007 Emerald City ComicCon this weekend, March 31st and
April 1st at the Qwest Field Event Center in Seattle, WA. Open from 10
