Following the success of “Daredevil,” “Jessica Jones” and “Luke Cage” on Netflix, Marvel Comics will capitalize on the popularity of its street-level heroes with its “Running with the Devil” initiative, a new story beginning in February in “Daredevil” #17, before expanding in a trio of “Kingpin,” “Bullseye” and “Elektra” number ones.

In "Daredevil," writer Charles Soule and artist Ron Garney will address the question dangling over the head of the Man Without Fear: How did Matt Murdock regain his secret identity.

“Fans are going to love what we have in store for our street-level superstars in 2017,” Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso said in a statement. “We’re taking Daredevil and some of the characters in his orbit, sending them off in different directions for some brand-new stories from rising stars in the comics industry.”

Matthew Rosenberg ("Rocket Raccoon," "Civil War II: Kingpin") is writing "Kingpin" #1, with art by Ben Torres (Daredevil) and a Jeff Dekal cover. Ed Brisson ("Secret Wars Battleworld") is handling writing chores on "Bulleye" #1, with interior art by Guillermo Sanna ("Deadpool") and cover art by Dave Johnson. "Elektra" #1 marks the comic book debut of writer Matt Owens, who worked on “Marvel’s Luke Cage” on Netflix, with art by Alec Morgan ("Secret Wars Journal") and an Elizabeth Torque cover. All three titles will feature a connecting variant cover by Marco Checcetto.

"Daredevil" #17, "Bullseye" #1, "Kingpin" #1 and "Elektra" #1 will arrive in February.
