Fracking good news, everyone! The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Edward James Olmos is joining Shane Black's "The Predator" in an unnamed role.

The veteran actor joins an already impressive cast which includes Keegan- Michael Key,  Boyd Holbrook ("Narcos"), Jacob Tremblay ("Room"), 50 Cent, Jake Busey ("Starship Troopers")  and Olivia Munn (“X-Men: Apocalypse”). The revamp of the 1980s thriller (which Black co-wrote) is currently filming in Vancouver. In its 4th installment, the classic extraterrestrial hunters will be stalking its prey in a suburban neighborhood.

"The Predator" is a drop in the bucket for Olmos' geek cred. Most notably, he played Admiral Adama in Ronald D. Moore's "Battlestar Galactica." He had a recurring role on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" and is fresh off filming his reprise of the stylish, limping detective Gaff for "Blade Runner 2049." Reboots maybe a dime a dozen, but it's hard not to get excited about this cast.

Written and directed by Shane Black and also starring Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen and Yvonne Strahovski, "The Predator" will be hitting theaters Feb. 9, 2018.
