Eddie Murphy will develop and produce an animated feature titled "Bodacious" for Paramount Pictures, according to Tracking Board. The film will follow a real-life bull called Bodacious, which was once widely considered the world’s most dangerous bull.

Bodacious, a Charbray bull, was active from 1992-1996 at the Andrews Rodeo Co., bucking riders with ingenious moves that earned him the moniker "the greatest bull to ever buck." Bodacious was retired in his prime and sired many career bulls in the PBR and PRCA. He has also been inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame. Though it hasn't been confirmed, Murphy will likely voice the titular character in the film.

Murphy's past animated credits include "Shrek" and "Mulan."

Adam Goodman is attached as producer with Matt Skiena ("The Lego Movie") overseeing. Jared Mass will also oversee the project for Paramount.
