Stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron have posted the first photos from the set of "Baywatch," the Paramount Pictures action-comedy based on the long-running TV drama.

"My character 'Mitch Buchannon' just gave [Zac Efron's] character 'Matt Brody' the all important beach speech about what it means to have manly 'Alpha balls,'" Johnson wrote on Instagram. "Zac's ad-libbed responses were brilliant! Talented and great dude. World get ready to have some fun, 'cause the beach will never be the same again."

Directed by Seth Gordon (“Horrible Bosses”), "Baywatch" centers on the by-the-book leader of an elite team of lifeguards (Johnson) who’s forced to team with a rule-breaking hotshot (Efron) to save the bay from an oil tycoon (Priyanka Chopra).

Opening May 19, 2017, the film also stars Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach and Hannibal Buress.
