On Monday night's "Dancing With The Stars," Olympian Laurie Hernandez and dancer Val Chmerkovskiy performed to the original "DuckTales" theme song and -- in honor of their dance -- Disney revealed the new logo for Disney XD's "DuckTales"  revival.

Disney XD's senior vice president, programming and general manager Marc Buhaj announced the revival back in February. "'DuckTales' has a special place in Disney’s TV animation history," Buhaj said at the time. "It drew its inspiration from Disney Legend Carl Barks’ comic books and through its storytelling and artistic showmanship, set an enduring standard for animated entertainment that connects with both kids and adults. Our new series will bring that same energy and adventurous spirit to a new generation."

The original series aired from 1987 to 1990 on weekday afternoons, and inspired the 1990 theatrical release "DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp." Along with Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Duey, Louie and Donald Duck, the new "DuckTales" will feature Launchpad McQuack, Gyro Gearloose, Duckworth, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell and Poe, Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys (Burger Beagle, Bouncer Beagle), Mrs. Beakley and Webbigail "Webby" Vanderquack.

"DuckTales" is set to premiere in 2017 on Disney XD.
