With "Pokemon Go" taking the world by storm, and "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" set to arrive in November, its safe to say the iconic franchise is squarely back in the public consciousness. To celebrate, two Walt Disney Imagineers collaborated on a trio of gorgeous Poke-inspired travel posters drawn from locales within Kanto.

"I've always loved imaging all the different places to visit in the Pokemon world, so I decided to illustrate travel/National Parks style posters of some of those locations!" Janice Rosenthal wrote at Bored Panda.

Check out Rosenthal and fellow Imagineer Dawson Dill's renderings of Mount Moon, Cinnabar Island and Viridian Forest below.

Assuming the world can pause from playing "Pokemon Go," a live-action "Detective Pikachu" movie was recently announced in development with Legendary Pictures.
