The English dub of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'" will premiere Thursday, July 2, at Anime Expo in Los Angeles ahead of its limited U.S. theatrical release in August.

The 19th feature film in the animated franchise, “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F'” marks the return of the iconic villain Frieza. Here's the official synopsis:

An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza’s army Sorbet and Tagoma arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the “F” that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived…!

Series creator Akira Toriyama was directly involved in the production, and is credited with the original concept, screenplay and character designs.

Tickets for the Aug. 4-12 theatrical release will go on sale Friday, June 26. Fans can sign up on the official "Dragon Ball Z" website to be notified when sales open.
