Ahh, Valentine's Day. A day where you get to snuggle up with your significant other and relax with a butt load of romantic comedies. What better couple to perfectly capture love and marriage than everyone's favorite married couple, Goku and Chi-Chi. Sure, we've seen the two argue and get into fights (literally), but we all know that they're made for each other.

Only someone as naggy and strong-willed as Chi-Chi would be able to put up with half the crap Goku gets involved with, let alone have two kids with the big lug. So, in honor of Valentine's day, we'll be picking our ten favorite moments, starring Goku and Chi-Chi.

10 Gohan needs to Study

Gohan Is Studying in Dragon Ball

Goku isn't a brilliant man. Sure, he's a master martial artist, but if you ask him to help with your kid's homework, you're better off asking a 2-year-old for help. Because of Goku's wilderness upbringing, he doesn't see that much importance for Gohan to study as Chi-Chi does.

So, when he of all people says that his son should do some studying, you know something must be up. Whether it's him trying to get Gohan to go camping with him, Krillin and Oolong or just trying to make the best out of the last ten days he'll be on earth, Goku must be out of his mind if he wants his boy to train his mind rather than his body.

9 Naming their Son

The most challenging part of raising Gohan for Goku and Chi-Chi wasn't trying to keep the boy from fighting like his dad, but coming up with a name for the poor kid. After Gohan's birth, our favorite husband and wife(plus grandpa Ox-King) spend hours trying to find out what to name him.

After he rejects Einstein and Johnny Ox-Seed, they still don't have a name for their baby. After Goku is unable to figure out what to call the boy, Chi-Chi rages that Goku's Grandpa Gohan didn't teach him any manors. It's saying Gohan's name that the boy begins to giggle at the name. And that, kids, is how Gohan got his name.

8 A walk in the woods

There's nothing sweeter than a married couple having a stroll with their baby... that is until their stroll starts to run away and speeds up to like 50 miles an hour.

While in the Woods, Goku does the unthinkable, and let's go of Gohan stroller, and things go crazy. Goku and Chi-Chi try to catch up, but the boy is tossed out of the stroller. About to hit a tree, Gohan summons his super baby strength and burst through the tree. It just reminds you that Goku and Chi-Chi aren't like your average family.

7 Getting Gohan into a Good School

There's nothing more critical to Chi-Chi than getting her son into a good school. All she wants is for her boy to grow up and make something of himself. It's a difficult task made even more so when Goku has to be involved. Take that time in Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan when she tries to present Goku as your average guy who likes reading and sports.

Seeing Goku in a Suit is pretty funny on its own, but seeing the guy have to talk to King Kai while he's in an interview is even better. So, he teleports away, leaving Chi-Chi stressed out over having to explain what happened.

6 Their first meeting

You know the story of "Boy Meets Girl?" Well, Goku and Chi-Chi had something like that. While flying around on the Nimbus cloud, Goku meets Chi-Chi and helps her meet with Master Roshi so he can use the Bansho Fan to put out the fire that surrounds Ox-Kings Castle.

They get involved in so many silly escapades, like Goku seeing if Chi-Chi was a girl, Chi-Chi pulling Goku's Tail, and even Chi-Chi asking Goku if he would be her bride... That last one didn't go as planned.

5 The "reunion"

It's been years since Goku and Chi-Chi saw each other, so you'd think that the two would be happy to meet each other, right? Nope, Goku didn't even realize who Chi-Chi was until she told him during their match at the World Tournament.

Chi-Chi wasn't too happy about Goku forgetting that he promised to marry Chi-Chi after the ordeal with the Red Ribbon Army, so she tried to give Goku a piece of her mind. Sadly, Goku thought that a wedding and bride were food, and the whole thing was a complete misunderstanding. However, there's a happy ending to this story, as Goku proposes to Chi-Chi, and she says yes.

4 The First Date

When Gohan is forced to go on a date with a Girl who blackmailed him into it, Chi-Chi thinks back to the first time she and Goku first went on a date.

She flirts with him, wanting him to do something "pleasurable," and Goku decides to do the first thing that comes to mind: beat the crap out of her. And so, the two spend the entire day fighting one another. Just your typical day in the world of Dragon Ball Z.

3 No Training for You

After years of defending the Universe, Chi-Chi has had enough of Goku always going off and training with someone else. Now that he's a grandpa, Chi-Chi wants Goku to stay on earth and set a good example for Pan. Like a kid trying to sneak out to a party, Goku decides to lie, only for the truth to come out.

She does everything in her power to make him stay, but Goku is just too crafty for Chi-Chi and teleports away with Whis. It was at this point that Chi-Chi finally gave up and was okay with Goku training. You can't reason with a Saiyan that wants to train.

2 Goku's Heart Virus Ordeal

For the better part of the android saga, Goku was out with a heart virus. While Chi-Chi nags Goku to do other things than fighting, she does care about her husband.

Throughout the entire saga, Chi-Chi is beside Goku till he finally wakes up. After he gets back on his feet, the two have a touching moment of Goku twirling Chi-Chi around before accidentally tossing her into the sky. But, like the gentleman he is, Goku catches his wife and makes sure she's safe.

1 The Wedding

Is there anything more special than a wedding? After saving Ox-King from a fire that nearly killed him, Goku and Chi-Chi finally tie the knot and get married. Seeing how this is the end of the original Dragon Ball, it couldn't have gone out on a happier note.

Fortuneteller Baba even gets a look into their future... If only she told them that Goku would fight a bloodthirsty prince, an alien tyrant, an insect robot, a pink demon, and the God of Destruction. At least they have two kids and a granddaughter.
