During his Ask Me Anything session on Reddit earlier today, Robert Downey Jr. dropped a few tasty tidbits for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans. Iron Man addressed upcoming Marvel projects on both the big and small screen, cleared up a comment he previously made about Mel Gibson helming Iron Man 4 and teased that fans will soon have all of their questions answered. Here are his comments on:

Appearing on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.:

Nothing is impossible. But there might be a fair amount of red tape involved in something like that. I love Clark Gregg, and am pleased the show is doing so well.

How serious he was about Mel Gibson directing Iron Man 4:

It was an offhanded remark to a journalist and friend. I have other projects in mind for Mel and I - sooner than later the Marvel Roster will be made public and all questions will be answered.

RDJ then upped potential S.H.I.E.L.D. speculation after he was asked which television series he'd be willing to guest star in. His response?

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Yeah, you know he's serious because he typed out all of the punctuation for that answer.

Whether or not RDJ ends up on S.H.I.E.L.D. this season remains to be seen. If you want more of Downey, his latest film, The Judge, opens in theaters this Friday.
