During the month of October, the act of picking out a child's Halloween costume consumes many parents lives. Along with the ghouls, ghosts and goblins, some kids emulate the people who influence their lives. Of course, when your father is Donnie Yen, you just raid his closet and you're guaranteed be the coolest kid on the block during Trick or Treat. Hence, Yen's son dressed as his his dad's character in the Star Wars universe, Chirrut Îmwe.

Yen and his wife posted photos on their Instagram accounts of their children dressed in costumes from a galaxy far, far away. Yen's daughter dons a First Order Stormtrooper gear while his son wears the robes and holds a staff, the preferred weapon, of the spiritual Chirrut Îmwe.

Best known for portraying the title role in "Ip Man," Hong Kong film star Donnie Yen is on the verge of becoming a household name. Fans will first see Yen as Îmwe, a blind warrior monk with a strong faith in The Force, in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" this December and then square off against Vin Diesel in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" in January.

Starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” arrives in American theaters on December 16, and in the UK on December 15.
