SPOILER WARNING: This article contains minor spoilers for "Dark Knight III: The Master Race" #3, on sale now.

It's very hard to avoid Donald Trump in the media these days -- including in the pages of DC Comics. Trump, currently a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination -- you knew that already, of course -- turns up in the freshly released "Dark Knight III: The Master Race" #3 by Frank Miller, Brian Azzarello, Andy Kubert and Klaus Janson, in a one-panel cameo.

The scene is a "talking heads" sequence, a callback to 1986's original "The Dark Knight Returns." Much like Miller's initial story, "Dark Knight III"nincludes caricatures of politicians and television personalities -- such as, in this issue, President Barack Obama, Jon Stewart, Wolf Blitzer and the hosts of "Fox & Friends" are all seen -- commenting on the action unfolding. All are seen discussing the threat of Kryptonian invasion, including someone who certainly looks like Donald Trump (but, like all the appearances of real-life personalities, is unnamed) saying what sure sounds like something Donald Trump would say if he lived in this alternate timeline DC Universe.

Of course, given Trump's many years in the public consciousness, he's been referenced in comic books before -- including, of all places, the cover copy of 1993's "Night Thrasher" #3 from Marvel Comics, as pointed out recently by CBR's Brett White on Twitter.
