Community alum Donald Glover and Headhunters star Aksel Hennie of boarded director Ridley Scott's The Martian, TheWrap reports.

The join an ensemble cast for the drama that already includes Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Pena, Mackenzie Davis and Jeff Daniels.

Based on Andy Weir's novel, the Fox film stars Damon as an astronaut stranded on Mars who must find a way to survive long enough to return to Earth. Chastain plays the leader of the rescue, while Pena, Mara and Hennie are astronauts. Daniels will portray the director of NASA, and Wiig its media-relations director. Glover and Davis are said play bright young agency employees.
