Set to join Jodie Whittaker as she takes over as the Thirteenth Doctor are Bradley Walsh (Law & Order: UK) as Graham, Tosin Cole (Hollyoaks) as Ryan, and Mandip Gill (Hollyoaks) as Yasmin.

Interestingly enough, Walsh was rumored earlier this month to be cast as the companion to Whittaker's Doctor , and while it's still unknown who his character Graham is to the Doctor, it's highly possible he is, indeed, the Doctor's new companion in the upcoming season.

Also joining the series in an unspecified "returning" role is Sharon D Clarke (Holby City).

Chris Chibnall (Broadchurch) will serve as the new head writer and executive producer, taking over for Steven Moffat.

"The new Doctor is going to need new friends," Chibnall said in a statement. "We’re thrilled to welcome Mandip, Tosin and Bradley to the Doctor Who family. They’re three of Britain’s brightest talents and we can’t wait to see them dive into brand new adventures with Jodie’s Doctor. Alongside them, we’re delighted that Sharon D Clarke is also joining the show."

Doctor Who will return to BBC and BBC America when “Twice Upon a Time” airs on Dec. 25, with Whittaker succeeding the Twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi.
