We already know that Marvel's "Avengers: Infinity War" will likely give us the largest cast of superheroes ever seen on screen, bringing together the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, and introducing Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. Benedict Cumberbatch also recently confirmed his involvement -- an unsurprising addition, given the importance of the multiverse and the Sorcerer Supreme's knowledge.

Now it appears we can count on seeing one more familiar face from "Doctor Strange."

Actor Benedict Wong, who plays Strange's trusty aide Wong, confirmed to ComicBook.com that he'll also appear in the ensemble film. "I'm thrilled I'm going to be in 'Infinity War,'" he said. "I'm looking forward to, I'll tell you that one first."

As is the case with most actors involved in Marvel Studio releases, Wong doesn't know precisely how his character will fit into the film. Still, he's excited about the possibilities after the story introduced in "Doctor Strange."

"It's where both of them go now from there, from this launchpad into this multiverse," he said. "I think we really grab you by both hands and drag you through this because it's a visual feast for the eyes. ... It is something that you've got to go back and have a look at again, and I'm really looking forward to how it unfolds now."

While the plot of "Infinity War" is still mostly unconfirmed, we do know the film will focus on Thanos' search for his elusive Infinity Gems, possibly tying in closely to the storyline of the comic. "Avengers: Infinity War" begins filming next month in Atlanta for release on May 25, 2018.
