Anticipation for the upcoming "Doctor Strange" movie is approaching a fever pitch. But while the latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe saga is already open in cinemas in the U.K., audiences in North America have to wait a few more days. Thankfully, a new TV spot has been released to help appease those anxiously awaiting the film's imminent arrival.

Titled "Experience The Impossible," the 15-second promo is packed with mystical action. Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) has got a stick that magically grows, and glows. But will he be using it to beat up some bad guys, or to teach Cumberbatch's Strange some humility?

We see both the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) and Strange displaying their mystical prowess in the form of strangely-patterned circles of light that appear around their hands. All this happens as Swinton's character delivers the call to action – "It is time to defend the world from those who would destroy it."

Next up, Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen) shows off his impossible reality-warping skills as he tells Strange "You cannot stop this, Doctor." To which our hero replies "Good, I came here to fight it."

The spot ends in a swirl of green light emitting from the Eye of Agamotto, which then dissolves into the film's title card, again hinting that the green stone at the amulet's heart will be playing a central role in the movie's climax. Eagle-eyed fans already have strong suspicions about that stone's true nature – will their theories be confirmed? We only have to wait a few more days now to find out.
