Disney looks to be gearing up for the Halloween season by introducing an all-new Ms. Marvel costume for kids. The costume is inspired by Kamala Khan, the Marvel Comics superhero who gained widespread acclaim as the first Muslim character to headline a Marvel series with the release of Ms. Marvel #1 in 2014.

According to Disney's website, the Ms. Marvel costume includes a top, pants, scarf-style cape, eye mask, and wrist cuff. The outfit features metallic gold in the lightning bolt emblem on the chest, the piping on the cape and top, and the wrist cuff. As you can see in the photo below, it's remarkably accurate to the character's comic book look.

First appearing in Captain Marvel #14, teenager Kamala Khan gained widespread popularity in her solo series by creators G. Willow Wilson and Adrian Alphona. Her first solo title won a Hugo Award in 2015. A second Ms. Marvel series has been published since 2016.

Following the events of Inhumanity, Kamala discovers she is a member of the Inhumans and gains shapeshifting abilities when she comes into contact with the Terrigen Mists. She decides to embrace the legacy of Carol Danvers, who had previously given up the Ms. Marvel name in exchange for the Captain Marvel moniker.

Disney's Ms. Marvel costume comes in four sizes and can be purchased from the Disney Store website for $44.95.
