A new clip from Disney XD's upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy: Origins" series of shorts explores the early years of everyone's favorite talking tree in this 2-minute clip featuring Groot's secret origin.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" animated series stars Will Friedle as Star-Lord, Vanessa Marshall as Gamora, David Sobolov as Drax, Trevor Devall as Rocket, Kevin Michael Richardson as Groot and James Arnold Taylor as Yondu and Cosmo. The series debuts September 26 at 9:30 PM ET on Disney XD.
