When The Defenders hits Netflix in August, the main four cast members won't be the only ones to cross over. Several supporting characters -- including Misty Knight and Colleen Wing -- have been confirmed for the upcoming eight-episode series, and they're going to get in on the crossover action as well. At Comic-Con International in San Diego, Iron Fist star Jessica Henwick -- who plays Colleen -- revealed there will be a scene in which the "whole" cast comes together.

Asked what she was most excited for fans to see, Henwick said, "I'm excited just for fans to see characters interact that have never interacted before! I'm not even just talking about the four leads. I'm also talking about ensemble cast, which -- most of them have been announced, I think. There's a scene which has all of us -- the whole cast in the same room -- and that was crazy, and a lot of fun. So that's what I'm excited for people to see, and it's sort of towards the end of the show, I'd say."

On the topic of Matt's relationship with Foggy, Daredevil star Charlie Cox also hinted at the big ensemble scene at the end of the season. "This show is about the four Defenders, really," he shared. "Matt has never involved Foggy in his life as a superhero, and he's been very clear about that and that is part of the reason they are no longer best friends. But the reason he's never done that is really for Foggy's protection! He's not going to change his mind about that, I don't think. So it means that Foggy's airtime is limited when it comes to Matt and particularly in this show because this show takes place over the course of a week and it's mayhem. It just kicks off, and so there's very little time… There's a couple moments towards the end of the show where Foggy and characters like Foggy in the other heroes' worlds become instrumental."

Per Henwick, Foggy and Colleen won't be the only ones to get involved. "It is possible that Colleen and Misty may approach one another and start talking to each other," she teased. "I know the fans want it. It was actually part of the reason why I loved Colleen when I started researching the role and I saw Daughters of the Dragon and what that was, it's unlike anything that's on TV. It's unlike anything I've seen, as far as I know. Yes. I think fans will be happy."

This echoes a statement she made back in April, where she said, “I think people are going to love seeing characters interact with each other, they’re going to see Colleen and Misty, they’re going to love seeing Luke Cage with the Iron Fist, Danny Rand. I think fans are going to freak out.”

Misty and Colleen have a long history of working together in their comics of origin. Both characters debuted close to each other: Colleen in Marvel Premiere #19 in 1974 and Misty in Marvel Premiere #21 in 1975. The two became fast friends after Colleen arrived in New York City. The duo would go on to form a private investigation firm together and, later, the crime-fighting team dubbed the Daughters of the Dragon. Both Henwick and Simone Missick, who played Misty in Luke Cage, have proven their respective characters are forces to be reckoned with, so it seems only natural the two would come together on-screen.

Arriving August 18 on Netflix, the eight-episode Defenders miniseries stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Finn Jones as Danny Rand, Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios, Sigourney Weaver as Alexandra.
