The premiere of CW Seed's animated Deathstroke series is just a few days away.

As revealed by a short teaser, Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons will hit the free streaming service on Jan. 6. The brief video pans over an image of the titular mercenary firing a gun at his adversaries without even looking, then reveals the logo and premiere date.

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons joins Vixens and Freedom Fighters: The Ray as CW Seed original programs. The official synopsis for Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons, which will run for 12 episodes, appears below:

Ten years ago, Slade Wilson -- aka the super-assassin called Deathstroke -- made a tragic mistake and his wife and son paid a terrible price. Now, a decade later, Wilson’s family is threatened once again by the murderous Jackal and the terrorists of H.IV.E. Can Deathstroke atone for the sins of the past -- or will his family pay the ultimate price?

On Arrow, Manu Bennett played the character across six seasons and 39 episodes. In the animated series, however, he will be voiced by Fantastic Four and Gotham alum Michael Chiklis. The character was also recently portrayed by Joe Manganiello in Justice League and Esai Morales on DC Universe's Titans.

The series premieres Jan. 6 on CW Seed.
