Deadpool's accelerated healing factor is almost as famous as his foul mouth, his fixation with Spider-Man and his tendency to break the fourth wall, allowing Marvel's Merc With a Mouth to bounce back from decapitation and even incineration. But can he regenerate everything, even ... li'l Wade?

Performing a public service, Inverse bravely posed the question to Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld, who put the question to rest: Wade Wilson can regrow his penis, should the need (ahem) arise.

“Yes, yes,” he told the website with a laugh. “We would never, ever live in a world where Deadpool can’t regenerate his own cock and balls.”

The genitalia conversation quickly turned to the fast-healing Wolverine, whom Liefield suggested might run into complications in a similar situation, because of his adamantium-laced skeleton. "The adamantium skeleton gives you a whole different dimension on Wolverine,” he said, making us wonder whether human physiology is radically different in the Marvel Universe.

Unless the scientists of the Weapon X program were even more demented that we imagined, Logan's wiener shouldn't contain adamantium. Or, y'know, a bone.

Liefeld returns to the Merc With a Mouth next month as the artist and co-writer of the original graphic novel "Deadpool: Bad Blood," which pits the fan-favorite antihero against the mysterious Thumper. Co-written by Chad Bowers and Chris Sims, "Deadpool: Bad Blood" arrives May 17 from Marvel Comics.
