While it remains a bit of a mystery as to which side what superhero will pick when "Civil War II" arrives, the newest teaser image, illustrated by Phil Noto, makes it clear who Deadpool is rooting for in the Marvel Comics' event. Sort of.

The image, debuting via Entertainment Weekly, shows Wade Wilson decked out in his finest Iron Man and Captain Marvel paraphernalia, cheering his "team" on to victory. Of course, since previously released cover art shows Tony Stark and Carol Danvers in opposition to each other, it's obvious Deadpool is simply hedging his bets.

Previous teasers have featured Spider-Man, Old Man Logan, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, Star-Lord & Rocket Raccoon, Medusa, Jean Grey, Black Panther and Thor.

The main "Civil War II" series, from the "Ultimate Comics Spider-Man" team of writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Marquez, is scheduled to debut in June. A prelude #0 issue, from Bendis and artist Olivier Coipel, has been solicited for release in May.
