Producer Lauren Shuler Donner spoke to Superhero Hype about possibly spinning off the merc with a mouth. "Ryan Reynolds is playing Deadpool," Donner said. "He plays Wade Wilson." So ... spin off? "I hope so. I really hope so. He's so good at it." She also speaks briefly about the "Wolverine" movie.

Writer David Goyer told MTV that absolutely nothing you've read about a third trip to Gotham City is true. "It's all B.S.," he said. "ALL of it. Chris and I haven't even talked about it. He quite understandably is taking a long, long vacation and wants to purge himself. We have mused here and there [but] I mean Chris is pretty much a one movie at a time kind of guy. I wish I could tell you more. There really isn't anything to tell."

The Hollywood Reporter also reports that Mandalay Pictures, Mark Canton and Liquid Comics are teaming up to bring Liquid's graphic novel to the big screen. John Collee has been tapped to adapt the story, which is a reimagining of an ancient Hindu epic.
