“DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” Ratings Stay Solid in Second Week

“DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” remained solid in its second week, slipping just one-tenth of a point in the ratings from its Jan. 21 premiere.

The CW’s time-traveling superhero series drew 2.8 million viewers overall Thursday (1.1/4 in the coveted 18-49 demographic), and placed second among the broadcast networks with men 18-34 in the 8 p.m. time slot.

Thursday’s episode of “Legends of Tomorrow” was the conclusion of the two-part premiere, which featured a shocking twist.

The real test of the DC Comics-inspired series may come next week, however: As Variety notes, it will face serious competition from a new episode of the hit “Big Bang Theory.”

Airing Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” stars Caity Lotz as White Canary, Brandon Routh as the Atom, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein (one-half of Firestorm), Franz Drameh as Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (the other half of Firestorm), Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl and Arthur Darvill as time-traveler Rip Hunter.
