"Talon" writer James Tynion and current series cover artist Mico Suayan will take over "Red Hood and the Outlaws" in April.

In a creative shift for "Red Hood and the Outlaws," DC Comics has announced "Talon" writer James Tynion IV and artist Mico Suayan will take over the title from current writer Scott Lobdell and artist Timothy Green II in April for "Red Hood and the Outlaws" #19. While speaking with Newsarama, Tynion stated his first issues for the series will deal with the repercussions of Scott Snyder's "Death of the Family" storyline in "Batman" that will impact Red Hood's team. In particular, Tynion stated he plans to bring a larger focus on Roy Harper.

"It's safe to say that we're going to see characters from Roy's past emerging forward -- both people from his past in the current continuity of the character who we aren't aware have a connection to Roy, and then we're going to see some people who had a connection to Roy pre-52, and we're going to see him interact with him for the first time," Tynion told Newsarama. "So there's a lot of fun to come in those first few issues. The central threat of issue #19 is something we'll ask to hold off on until a bit more gets out into the open."

Tynion and Suayan begin their "Red Hood and the Outlaws" run this April.
