While much has been made of DC Comics' latest high-profile launch, the publisher has kept one aspect of "Superman Unchained" under wraps -- until today.

In the current batch of new releases, DC unveiled the logo for Scott Snyder and Jim Lee's upcoming series in a two-page ad. It plays on the classic "Superman" logo, remaining true to the character's comic book roots rather than reflecting the logo treatment for Zack Snyder's upcoming "Man of Steel" motion picture.

But what really makes the ad stand out is its two-page nature, presenting a fresh look at a shot we've seen numerous times before in various promotions and interviews. The sheer size of Superman gives readers a hint at what they might expect from Lee's much-hyped 4-page, 2-sided fold-out scene in the debut issue.

Check out the ad and logo below and keep it locked to CBR for more on "Superman Unchained!"

EDIT 8:38 AM PT: DC has provided CBR with an cleaner version of the ad.
