On April 18, DC Entertainment will attempt to break the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as DC Comics Super Heroes at multiple venues across the globe within a 24-hour time period.

Participation is simple: Fans must dress in their best, recognizable DC super hero gear and show up at one of the 15 locations: Birmingham, UK; Cardiff, UK; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Lille, France; London, UK; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Lyon, France; Madrid, Spain; Manila, Philippines; Mexico City, Mexico; Paris, France; Queensland, Australia; Rome, Italy; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Warrington, UK. The event kicks off in the Queensland, Australia location at Movie World Australia theme park and closes in Los Angeles at Hollywood and Highland.

"Warner Bros. Consumer Products is thrilled to team up with partners around the world to set the world record for the most people dressed as DC Comics Super Heroes," said Warner Bros. Consumer Products President Brad Globe in a statement. "We invite fans of all ages to come out for this exciting family event and don their capes, cowls and masks to represent their favorite DC Comics Super Hero."

The record is accomplished as soon as fans arrive and stay at the assigned location for at least five full minutes. Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) will be at each event with exclusive merchandise and more.

WBCP and DC Entertainment will host a variety of events in the official locations leading up to the record breaking, including the "Best Super Hero Post" photo contest and the "Best Super Hero Photo Bomb" contest.
