The 2001 Diamond Gem Award winners were announced in the April issue of
Diamond Dialogue, with DC named in several categories. DC wishes to thank

DC Projects Among Final Nominees for 2001 Bram Stoker Awards

The final nominees for the 2001 Bram Stoker Awards have been announced, with
the Illustrated Narrative category made up entirely of DC projects. We
congratulate all those nominated and thank the members of the Horror Writers
Association for making these selections.

“The First Adventures of Miss Catterina Poe” (THE DREAMING #56) written by

DC Projects Named in Spectrum Awards

The winners of the ninth annual Spectrum Awards for fantastic art were
announced on February 22, with DC talent being honored in several categories.
The winners included:

Comics – Silver Award:

Dave McKean – cover, THE SANDMAN PRESENTS: THE CORINTHIAN – DEATH IN VENICE #2

Dimensional – Gold Award:

Tim Bruckner – CLASSIC JOKER MINI-BUST




DC Projects Nominated for International Horror Guild Awards

The International Horror Guild has named its nominees for outstanding
achievement in the field of horror/dark fantasy for 2001, including two
projects from DC Comics, which are:

“The First Adventures of Miss Catterina Poe” (THE DREAMING #56) written by
Caitlin R. Kiernan, with art by Steve Leialoha (VERTIGO)

DESPERADOES: QUIET OF THE GRAVE #1-5 written by Jeff Mariotte, with art by
