DC Comics announces new lineup for Legends of the Dark Knight

DC Comics has revealed a new creator lineup for its digital-first Legends of the Dark Knight that includes Jeff Parker, Michael Avon Oeming, Phil Hester, Gabriel Hardman and Joshua Hale Fialkov.

Launched in June as part of an expansion of the publisher’s digital-first slate, the out-of-continuity series features standalone stories by different creative teams chronicling some of Batman’s cases. New chapters appear each Thursday.

Here’s the fall schedule:

  • Aug. 9 — “A Game to Die For,” written by TJ Fixman and illustrated by Christopher Mitten
  • Aug. 16 — “Slam!” Part 1, written by Joshua Fialkov and illustrated by Phil Hester and Eric Gapstur
  • Aug. 23 — “Slam!” Part 2, written by Joshua Fialkov and illustrated by Phil Hester and Eric Gapstur
  • Aug. 30 — “Slam!” Part 3, written by Joshua Fialkov and illustrated by Phil Hester and Eric Gapstur
  • Sept. 6 — “Bat-Man: The Movie,” written by Andrew Dabb and illustrated by Giorgio Pontrelli
  • Sept. 13 — “Together,” written by Jonathan Larsen and illustrated by Tan Eng Huat
  • Sept. 20 — “Gotham Spirit,” written by Jeff Parker and illustrated by Gabriel Hardman
  • Sept. 27 — “Dungeons & Dragons,” written and illustrated by Michael Avon Oeming
  • Oct. 4 — “Look Inside,” written by Rob Williams and illustrated by Juan Ryp
  • Oct. 11 — “Arkham’s Ghost” Part 1, written by Joe Harris and illustrated by Jason Masters
  • Oct. 18 — “Arkham’s Ghost” Part 2, written by Joe Harris and illustrated by Jason Masters
  • Oct. 25 — “Arkham’s Ghost” Part 3, written by Joe Harris and illustrated by Jason Masters

Legends of the Dark Knight can be downloaded for 99 cents on the DC Entertainment website.
