"Doctor Who" veteran David Tennant will voice Scrooge McDuck on "DuckTales," the highly anticipated reboot of the beloved 1980s animated series.

He's joined by an all-star cast that includes "Community" star Danny Pudi as Huey, "Parks and Recreation" alum Ben Schwartz as Dewey, "Saturday Night Live" veteran Bobby Moynihan as Louie, "Raising Hope" actress Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack, "Castle" alum Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley, and "SNL" cast member Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack.

Disney XD cleverly made the announcement this morning with a video in which the cast preforms the classic "DuckTales" theme song.

Announced in February 2015, the new series returns to television the beloved animated action-adventure that was an integral part of of weekday afternoons between 1987 and 1990.

In addition to the core cast of characters, the reboot will include such familiar faces as Donald Duck, who's been featured in promotional images, Gyro Gearloose, Duckworth, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell & Poe, and Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys (Burger Beagle, Bouncer Beagle).

Produced by Disney Television Animation, the new "DuckTales" will premiere this summer on Disney XD.
