David Hasselhoff is ready to hit the beach again.

The actor, who famously played Mitch Buchannon on the long-running TV drama "Baywatch," will join Dwayne Johnson and Zac Effron in the upcoming big-screen adaptation.

"There ain't no 'Bay' without The Hoff," Johnson said in a brief video announcement that featured Hasselhoff in a FaceTime call. "Get ready, world!"

Johnson plays Buchannon in the Paramount Pictures film; the nature of Hasselhoff's role hasn't been revealed.

"'Baywatch' is the most successful TV show of all time," Johnson wrote on Facebook, "and from the day we announced we were turning it into a movie, 'The Hoff' has been our greatest supporter. Especially once he knew our RATED R movie was going to be a combination of 'Avengers' meets 'Anchorman.'"

Directed by Seth Gordon, “Baywatch” centers on the by-the-book leader of an elite team of lifeguards (Johnson) who’s forced to team with a rule-breaking hotshot (Efron) to save the bay from an oil tycoon (Priyanka Chopra).

Opening May 19, 2017, the film also stars Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach and Hannibal Buress.
