The long-stewing drama collaboration between David Fincher and Charlize Theron has reportedly found a home at Netflix.

Variety reports that "Mind Hunter," an adaptation of John Douglas and Mark Olshaker’s book “Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit,” was previously set up with Fox 21, and intended to air on HBO. Now, however, Fox 21 is no longer involved.

Scott Buck, recently named showrunner of Netflix's "Iron Fist," was originally on board to adapt the book, which chronicles Douglas' experiences tacking down rapists and serial killers for the FBI, where he developed the agency's criminal profiling techniques. Now the script duties fall to Joe Penhall ("The Road").

Netflix declined comment on the report.
