Boston, MA Komikwerks, a leader in online and digitally
distributed comics, has announced a second print anthology, Komikwerks Volume 2.
The sophomore effort features a host of talented contributors from the comics and
animation fields, including Dave Johnson, best known for his Eisner-Award winning
covers for Vertigo’s 100 Bullets, and Mark Millar’s Superman: Red Son. Regarding his
enthusiasm for Komikwerks Volume 2, Dave has been quoted as saying “I actually
PAID to be in this book!”
Johnson has also worked in the animation industry, most recently at the WB animation
studio, where he worked with many other contributors to Komikwerks, Volume 2; Glenn
Wong (Justice League, Batman Beyond, and Superman animated series), Ricky
Garduno (Warner Bros and Disney animation), Dennis Woodyard (X-Men: Evolution,
Men in Black, and Gargoyles animated series), Cyrus Voris (Bulletproof Monk
screenplay), S.D. Lara (Batman Beyond), Shannon Denton (Osmosis Jones, Jimmy
Neutron), Steve Jones (Teen Titans, Batman Beyond animated series), Gabe Swarr
(Ren and Stimpy), Derrick Wyatt (Teen Titans animated series), Caroline Hu (Osmosis
Jones), James Baker (Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, Treasure Planet), Curtis Cim (Baby
Looney Tunes), and Ben Jones (Teen Titans animated series).
Bernie Wrightson, Legendary artist of Stephen King’s The Stand, Swamp Thing, and
Batman says that Komikwerks Volume 2 is “Refreshing, funny and fun. A high point for

Previews, and ships in November. The book is 116 pages, color cover with b&w
