DARK KNIGHT RISES
The British Board of Film Classification has posted an update to “The Dark Knight Rises” running time — it’s 164 minutes, 27 seconds, or approximately 2 hours, 45 minutes. So be sure to get really comfortable when you go see Christopher Nolan’s final Batman installment.

THE WALKING DEAD
EW.com has posted new photos of the prison from “The Walking Dead” season three featuring Rick, Glenn and others prepping to fight the zombie hordes and another with Maggie about to deliver a killing blow with a machete.
“I’m incredibly proud of the prison,” showrunner Glen Mazzara told EW. “I think our crew has done a great job. It’s a huge sense of scale and magnitude I haven’t seen on any other show as far as construction. What’s important to us is, the prison itself is now a character in the show. It’s a haunted house, it’s scary, it’s frightening, and there are parts of the prison that are always terrifying, that are always inaccessible to our group. It’s not necessarily the blessing that the prison in the comic book turned out to be.”
Season three premieres this fall on AMC

“The Amazing Spider-Man” opens today, but that doesn’t mean the news blitz for Marc Webb’s reboot is over — in fact, the producers are already teasing the sequel. Producer Matt Tolmach told MTV that the next film won’t have that large of a time jump.
“The next movie will take place in relative proximity to this one,” Tolmach told MTV. “We have more business to do here [and now] with the character. … The story, there’s a lot more to be told in this story, and this quest that he’s on. So there won’t be a huge time jump.”
“Amazing Spider-Man” director Marc Webb spoke with Comic Book Movie about the challenges he faced taking on the web-slinger’s reboot.
Now in theaters
Not a large update, but WIVB.com spoke briefly to Dan Aykroyd about the status of “Ghostbusters 3” during his stop in Amherst, New York for an event promoting his Crystal Head Vodka.
“We’ve got a new writing staff working on it now,” Aykroyd said. “It’s got to be prefect. That’s the whole thing. There’s no point in doing it unless it’s perfect. So that’s what we’re up to now.”
