THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
Latino Review spotted this video of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne hobbling out of his Lamborghini:
Hmm, I’m having a hard time seeing it, but the commentary from the cameraman and his pal surely makes this video worthwhile.

And with the release of a new Black Widow picture, Spinoff Online reports the first trailer for the film will be release this coming Tuesday on the eve (okay, the eve-eve) of New York Comic-Con. Here’s the new picture:
I hope it replaces the “exploding fart” photo from the earlier batch in the public consciousness.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Zemeckis and Universal have picked up the rights to the Dark Horse comic book “Fort, Prophet of the Unexplained.” It will be Zemeckis’s first picture in his new deal at the studio. The project is described as a “period ‘Ghostbusters'” featuring a fictionalized version of real life paranormal investigator Charles Fort. It’s a strong premise with its early 20th century New York setting, but couldn’t Zemeckis keep the pulpy title?
Release date: TBA
SUPERMAN: THE MAN OF STEEL
The Daily Mail has a new photo of Amy Adams as Lois Lane:
Apparently, some people are up in arms about her reddish hair. I don’t get why that’s a problem, wasn’t Lois a redhead for 15 years following the Crisis on Infinite Earths? Oh, right, those events never happened. Sorry about the confusion.
Directed by Zack Snyder, release date: June 14th 2013
Kenneth Branagh shares his thoughts on heir-apparent director Patty Jenkins with Entertainment Weekly. “‘Monster’ was, I think, an absolutely sensational film. I think that she’s a great talent. As a possibility in the mix, I think that’s a tremendous idea.” Very genial, Mr. Branagh, but can we discuss you coming on board to direct the “New Gods” film? I think you’d be perfect for it.
Starring Chris Hemsworth, release date: July 26, 2013
BATMAN: YEAR ONE
Spinoff Online has a new clip from the upcoming DC Animated Original movie:

THE WALKING DEAD
Michael Ausiello over at TV Line has seen the first two episodes of the season. “I don’t consider myself to be particularly squeamish, but there’s a scene in the Oct. 16 premiere that even I couldn’t (ahem) stomach. If you can manage to keep your eyes open the entire time, you’re made of stronger stuff than me,” he writes, adding the the episodes are “aces.”
Premieres: October 16th, 2011
WEEKEND II: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
Cue up the “Breakin’ 2” soundtrack and get me a vodka drink — it’s the weekend! It’s also the first bad movie day in quite some time. We’re focusing on sequels, including the likes of “Transformers 2,” “Dungeons & Dragons 2” and possibly “Exorcist II: The Heretic.” Might be a rough one. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, bracing for the future threat of even more obscure sequels lurking on the shelves.
