THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
According to The Los Angeles Times, the film’s scheduled New York shoot may include some filming at the Occupy Wall Street protests. “While the person who’d been told of the plans said the protests could figure into the production, they said that doesn’t mean they will be included in the storyline,” they report. I imagine if protestors are spotted in the background of shots, they’ll just be part of the millieu of Gotham. It’s interesting, though, that the city is an amalgam of American cities this time around. Hmm …. Also, here’s your obvious joke: “I’m pretty sure Bruce Wayne belongs to the 1%.”

IN THE DUST
Heat Vision reports that the forthcoming vampire graphic novel is already set to become a film. “The story is set against the Dust Bowl of the 1930s, when ‘black blizzards’ obscured the Midwest and prairies,” they write. “The plot sees a G-Man investigating the disappearances of entire families from small towns during these storms, uncovering the existence of an army of vampires that are using them as cover to ravage the countryside. The agent is forced to team up with remnants of Al Capone’s gang to save Chicago when the vampires turn their attention to the Windy City.” Co-creator George Mahaffey will write the script.

LATE TO ARKHAM CITY
Okay, who’s played it? Do I need to drop everything and get it? Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous.
