Dark Horse Comics Announces "Spell on Wheels" from Kate Leth & Megan Levens

"Spell on Wheels: Night of the Wand" follows three talented witches as they embark on a road trip to retrieve their stolen magical objects.

Dark Horse announced a new comic series today titled "Spell On Wheels." Written by Kate Leth ("Patsy Walker, a.k.a. Hellcat!") and drawn by Megan Levens ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10,") this comic highlights the ideals of friendship and magic.

"Spell on Wheels: Night of the Wand" follows the adventure of three talented witches: Andy, Claire and Jolene. These three friends must embark on a road trip to retrieve their stolen magical objects. Their friendship will be tested as they confront the dark forces which stole their items in the first place.

Ming Doyle ("Constantine: The Hellblazer") has designed the comic's debut cover, which hits shelves on October 19. Four more issues of "Spell on Wheels" will be released monthly.

Leth and Levens will be signing at the Dark Horse booth on July 23 at 10 a.m. at San Diego Comic-Con.
