Marvel has released the first footage from its upcoming "Daredevil" series, which is set to debut on Netflix this April. The quick fifteen-second clip shows Daredevil (Charlie Cox) beaten and bloodied, stalking down a dimly lit hallway. "I'm just trying to make my city a better place," says Murdock in voiceover before ducking into a side room.

The clip finishes up by touting the full teaser trailer's impending release, stating that it will be online tomorrow. This is the first released footage of Daredevil in action, although a motion poster featuring Hell's Kitchen and the hero's logo was released in conjunction with the premiere date's announcement. Footage from the series was first unveiled during the "Daredevil" panel at New York Comic-Con in October. You can check out the tease video below.

"Daredevil" stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna and Vincent D'Onofrio as the Kingpin. All 13 episodes of "Daredevil" debut on Netflix on April 10.
