Peter Shinkoda is continuing to call out discriminatory behavior he experienced while playing Nobu on the Marvel Netflix series Daredevil, this time sharing how he and Wai Ching Ho weren't invited to the Season 2 premiere.

"[Wai Ching Ho] aka [Madame Gao] and I, aka [Nobu] of [Daredevil] weren't at the season 2 premiere...because we weren't invited," he tweeted. "Wai was insulted...and that pissed me off A LOT. We found out about the event as it live-streamed. 'They' were sorry we were 'overlooked'."

Previously, Shinkoda alleged that former Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb made anti-Asian remarks and prevented the writers from moving forward with fleshing out his character. He also said the series had originally planned for more storylines for Nobu and Gao but Loeb nixed them.

"I'm not into really protecting, you know, certain things anymore but Jeph Loeb told the writers room not to write for Nobu and Gao and this was reiterated many times by many of the writers and showrunners," Shinkoda explained. "He said, 'Nobody cares about Chinese people and Asian people. There were three previous Marvel movies, a trilogy called Blade that was made where Wesley Snipes killed 200 Asians each movie. Nobody gives a shit so don't write about Nobu and Gao.' And they were forced to put their storyline down and drop it."
