Danny Trejo will reunite with Robert Rodriguez for the second season of El Rey Network's "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series."

Variety reports the actor won't be reprising his role as Razor Charlie from the film franchise but will instead play The Regulator, a horrifying evil agent who's been summoned for a deadly errand.

Trejo, who starred in Rodriguez's "Machete" and "Machete Kills," is joined by fellow series newcomer Briana Evigan (“Step Up 2″), who'll play Sonja, "an American expatriate working as a tattoo artist in a Mexican mercado, who has a sideline gig forging papers and passports out of her back room."

The 10-episode second season is in production in Texas, with a returning cast that includes D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holts, Jesse Garcia, Eiza González, Madison Davenport, Brandon Soo Hoo and Wilmer Valderramma.
