Dallas Proclaims Free Comic Book Day in Honor of CAPE

The city of Dallas has once again proclaimed the May 5, 2007 is
Free Comic Book Day in honor of CAPE 3: Bride of CAPE (Comic and Pop Culture
Expo). This is the second year the city has bestowed CAPE, the WORLD’S
LARGEST Free Comic Book Day Event, with this proclamation. “I am honored
that Dallas would once again recognize CAPE with a proclamation,” says
Richard Neal, owner of Zeus Comics and one of the founders of CAPE. “It
validates the comic medium as a true art form and helps bring children’s
literacy to the forefront. This just makes a great day just that much
better.”

CAPE 3 is hosted by Popsyndicate.com, 2006 Eisner winner PvPOnline.com and
2006 Eisner winner Zeus Comics. With over 75 guests including Roberto
Aguirre-Sacasa, Gail Simone, David Mack, Mercedes Lackey, Josh Howard, Mike
Huddleston, Scott Kurtz, Tony Bedard, Jose Villarubia, Jamie S Rich, Jim
