The action is heating up in the new season of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," with this preview of Tuesday's episode revealing Daisy boldly confronting Robbie Reyes, aka Ghost Rider.

The clip from "Meet the New Boss" depicts Daisy (Chloe Bennet) peppering Reyes (Gabriel Luna) with questions at the garage where he works as a mechanic. She ostensibly wants to know what happened to her car's engine, but Reyes knows the real reason for her visit, and advises that she "leave it alone" so she doesn't "get hurt ... or smoked."

Undeterred, she tries to ask some questions to learn whether Reyes is on "the right side of things." However, he remains stubborn: "You may know who I am, but you don't know me, or what I'm capable of."

Daisy smirks and decides it's time to get serious. She tries to intimidate Robbie by insinuating she knows personal details about him. She mentions the elementary school he attended, a favorite childhood hangout, and that his uncle used to pick him up and take him home.

"How's he doing these days?" she asks. However, Robbie has had enough and lets her know she's crossed the line: "You get lost," he tells her, "Or I'll get angry. So angry that I may not remember what I do to you."

The second episode of the season will also see Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) facing the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and learning about his bold new agenda.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
