Warner Bros. has released six new clips from "Creed," the "Rocky" franchise spinoff starring Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan.

They're aren't any ring scenes, but the footage offers the sense of the dynamic between Jordan's Adonis Johnson and his mother (played by Phylicia Rashad), his girlfriend (Tessa Thompson) and his trainer, of course portrayed by Stallone.

Directed by Ryan Coogler ("Fruitvale Station"), "Creed" stars Jordan as the son of heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who died before he was born. With boxing in his blood, Adonis travels to Philadelphia to track down Rocky Balboa (Stallone) to train him to be a fighter. Despite his insistence that he’s out of the fighting game, Rocky recognizes in Adonis the same strength and determination he knew in Apollo, and agrees to train the young boxer, even as the former champion battles an opponent more deadly than any he faced in the ring.

"Creed" opens Nov. 26.
