While the solicitations text and earlier info on the original graphic novel had already stated as much, artist Nimit Malavia's cover for Marvel's "Once Upon A Time" original graphic novel, revealed today by TV Guide, leaves no doubt that the story within focuses heavily on the relationship between the Evil Queen and the Huntsman.

The OGN, subtitled "Shadow of the Queen," picks up directly after the events of the season 1 episode "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter," with the Huntsman having let Snow White escape rather than kill her per the Queen's orders. "The Evil Queen is still on a rampage to destroy her nemesis," editor Emily Shaw told TV Guide. "We'll get to witness some important events from the Huntsman's past. Events that define him as a character and explore a new side to his relationship with the Evil Queen."

The story, developed by series co-producer Dan Thomsen, is co-written by Corinna Bechko with art by Malavia, Vasilis Lolos, Mike Del Mundo, Stephanie Hans and Mike Henderson.
