S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) is a hard man to kill, and plenty have tried before, not the least of which was Loki, who stabbed him to death in the first Avengers movie. Still, in the best Marvel tradition Coulson got better and came back to helm ABC's “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” where he's survived a further three and a half seasons of adventures, including one in which his hand was chopped off. Thankfully, S.H.I.E.L.D. has access to the best bionic prosthetics.

But the villainous Superior, aka Anton Ivanov (Zach McGowan) has a bit of a beef with anyone involved with aliens, the Inhumans in particularly. What's more, he seems to be gunning for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most indefatigable asset, and there is a whole room full of intel on Coulson at the top of latest S.H.I.E.L.D. promo for the show.

As the captions say, "The Superior made a vow: Coulson must die." But from the looks of the gun-toting action montage, Coulson isn't going down without a fight.
