The first and only season of "Constantine" is coming to Blu-ray and DVD via Warner Archive. The announcement was touted in an ad on the back of this week’s DC Comics releases -- however, the ad says that the series is "Now on Blu-ray & DVD," but it isn't actually listed on the Warner Archive website. Warner Bros. has declined to comment.

"Constantine" stars Matt Ryan as exorcist and occult detective John Constantine, who originally appeared in DC Comics' "Swamp Thing," before starring in the Vertigo Comics series "Hellblazer." Co-created by Daniel Cerone and David S. Goyer, the television adaptation aired on NBC from October 24, 2014 to February 13, 2015. It was cancelled in May of that year due to low ratings, despite an enthusiastic reception from fans, whom Cerone credits for its home release.

“If its true then the fans made that happen,” Cerone told comicbook.com. “I give them all the credit because they’ve made their voices known and never gave up. I’m continually overwhelmed by the passion out there for this character.”

Warner Archive is a “print-on-demand” service that offers niche titles from the Warner Bros. library, thus making properties available to fans that would otherwise be unfeasible for large-scale home releases.

While the series may be gone, the character is not -- Ryan reprised his role as Constantine in a guest appearance during the fourth season of “Arrow," and will do so again, in animation, for the upcoming "Justice League Dark" animated film.

Keanu Reeves also played Constantine in the 2005 film of the same name, directed by Francis Lawrence.
